I propose to answer Questions Nos. 78 to 81 together.

It is not the practice for Minister for Justice to make statements to the House about individual Garda investigations except in singular instances where the circumstances are so exceptional that such a course is deemed appropriate. All I propose to say in relation to the matters raised here is that the Garda authorities have informed me that an investigation is in progress.
