Ceist:

39 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Finance if he will outline the total number of (1) executive officers, (2) staff officers, (3) clerical officers and (4) clerical assistants serving in each Government Department; the total number of vacancies for each Department in each grade at 31 October 1990; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Figures are no longer held centrally for vacancies in Government Departments. Figures are only held in respect of officers serving. As regards the numbers serving, the information sought by the Deputy is set out in the following tabular statement.

October 1 1990 is the most recent date for which the information sought is available.
