162 Mr. McCartan asked the Minister for Justice if he will outline his proposals to address the anomalies that might exist in this country with regard to the adoption of Romanian children by Irish couples; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
I wish to make it clear that my involvement in the matter of the adoption of Romanian children by Irish couples relates only to the entry to the State of children whose adoption is proposed.
Questions relating to the law on adoption are appropriate to my colleague, the Minister for Health.
