Ceist:194 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for the Environment if he will provide finance for the alleviation of flooding for residents of John's Quay, Kilkenny; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 193 and 194 together.
Kilkenny Corporation have submitted informal preliminary proposals to remedy flooding problems in Kilkenny City. These are still being further clarified at local level. Pending this clarification, the question of providing funds does not arise.
