Ceist:199 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for the Environment when he intends to prescribe a year for the introduction of the derelict sites levy.

I will prescribe the commencement year for the derelict sites levy under the Derelict Sites Act, 1990, when sufficient progress has been made by local authorities on the compilation of derelict sites registers and the valuation of urban land for the purposes of the levy.
