Ceist:217 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Education when she proposes to make funds available to Dublin City University for the provision of proper recreation facilities for the college; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 216 and 217 together.
I have over the past 12 months approved the allocation of funds to permit a number of high priority building projects to proceed at the Dublin City University.
It is intended to provide funds also for the expansion of library facilities as soon as resources permit. The Deputy will appreciate the many calls on available resources so that I am not in a position to say at this time when it will be possible to make such funds available.
