Ceist:49 Mr. Barry asked the Minister for Justice when the new Garda headquarters in Cork will be opened; and the number of gardaí to be stationed there.

Construction work on the new Garda divisional headquarters for Cork is due to be completed in mid-April 1991 and, following the fitting out of the premises, the new station is expected to be operational by the end of June. The station will be occupied by the 200 gardaí currently based at the divisional headquarters building at Union Quay, Cork.
