Ceist:53 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Justice if he will rename the aliens section within his Department, as the immigration office; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The term "alien" is a legal definition in the Aliens Act, 1935, and the various orders thereunder and the section of the Department charged with the responsibility of formulating and implementing policy in relation to persons subject to aliens law is known as the aliens section.
I do not see that any change of name is called for.
