Ceist:59 Mr. Taylor asked the Minister for Justice if he has any plans to amend section 8 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

As I have explained to the House on a number of occasions previously, I could not undertake to indicate by way of reply to parliamentary questions what legislative proposals I might have in any particular area. In accordance with normal practice, any legislative proposals I may have will be announced in the ordinary way when they have been considered and approved by Government.
