154 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce the current position regarding the proposed resource centre for Cashel, County Tipperary; when this development will commence; the projected employment figures; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Industry and Commerce (Mr. O'Malley)

The question of the proposed resource centre for Cashel, County Tipperary, is currently being examined. The Minister for Science and Technology is meeting the urban district council on 5 December to discuss the matter. I will arrange to have the Deputy kept informed of developments.
