188 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for the Environment if he has approved expenditure on a pedestrian crossing for Kinnegad, County Westmeath; the amount of money approved; and when payment will be made to Westmeath County Council.

On 18 October 1990, a proposal for the provision of a pedestrian crossing in Kinnegad was received in my Department from Westmeath County Council. A decision on the proposal, including its financing, will be issued as soon as possible.
