197 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for the Environment whether money will be made available to the Kilmovee-Urlaur group water scheme, County Mayo in order to provide for the extension of the scheme to serve the Gloshtrasna-Carracastle areas.
198 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for the Environment if he proposes to consider further grant aid for the Kilmovee/Urlaur group water scheme, County Mayo.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 197 and 198 together.
The question of providing additional funding for this completed scheme is currently being examined in my Department and I hope to give a decision on the matter shortly.
My Department are awaiting the submission of completed application forms and design data for the proposed extensions to the scheme. When these are received the matter will be considered further.
