Ceist:200 Mr. Harte asked the Minister for the Environment the present position regarding the proposal to provide a fire station at Milford, County Donegal.

The lowest tender received for this project would have resulted in the total capital cost being almost double the approved estimate. Accordingly, Donegal County Council have been asked to take steps, including redesign on a more modest scale, to reduce the cost of the project to a more acceptable level.
