25 Mr. Kemmy asked the Minister for Education if it is her intention to make an equestrian studies degree available to students of Thomond College, Limerick; when she intends to introduce the degree course; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

I approved a certificate course in equestrian studies in Thomond College in 1989 on a pilot basis for two years. My intention is that the position will be reviewed in 1991 towards the end of the two year period.
