73 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Education (a) whether she has located the source of the recent leak of part of the forthcoming OECD Report from official sources (b) when this report will be published in full and (c) the exact title and general format of the report.
I am aware that material purporting to be from the forthcoming OECD report has been published in the media. I am satisfied that the source of the material was not my Department.
The formal publication of the report by the OECD is expected in the next few weeks. The report entitled Review of Educational Policy in Ireland, will deal in a discursive way with several important issues in Irish education and will contain suggestions and recommendations by the OECD examiners who compiled it.
