99 Mr. Noonan (Limerick East) asked the Minister for Finance if he will give details of all legislation at present being prepared by his Department or being drafted by the parliamentary draftsman, the purpose of each Bill; and its possible publication date.
At any time work is in progress in my Department on a wide range of new legislation and law reform measures in accordance with priorities decided under the Government's programme of law reform.
It is my intention, in accordance with accepted practice, to announce proposed new legislation at the stage at which it has been approved by the Government.
