Ceist:202 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Education the number of caretakers who are employed in (a) primary schools and (b) post-primary schools in County Tipperary; and the schools to which they are attached.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 200 and 202 together. My Department's records do not contain the information requested by the Deputy.
The employment of school clerical and caretaking staff is a matter in each case for the school authorities concerned, with support from my Department limited to that available under the various grant schemes.
