Ceist:

68 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if he has received a request from the family of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 7 to allow into this country her husband, who is from El Salvador; and if this request will be dealt with as sympathetically as possible.

I understand that the Department of Justice, who are the Department responsible for immigration matters, permitted the person in question to enter the State on 6 December 1990.

No request was received by my Department in this connection.
