Ceist:

109 Mr. Spring asked the Minister for Communications (a) the funds (b) the resources and (c) the ideas or other supports he plans to contribute towards the effort of Dublin as the European Community cultural capital for 1991; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

There are no funds at my disposal for this purpose. I will, however, encourage the bodies under the aegis of my Department to support the event. An Post has already been granted approval for the issue of a special stamp next year in honour of the event.
