219 Tomás Mac Giolla asked the Minister for Education (a) the number and (b) the proportion of posts of chief executive officer of vocational education committees which are vacant or filled on a basis other than permanent; and the vocational education committees concerned.
There are no vacant chief executive officer posts in vocational education committees. The posts of chief executive officer are filled in an acting capacity in the case of eight of the 38 committees. The committees where acting chief executive officers have been appointed are Counties Carlow, Dublin, Kildare, Limerick, Longford, Mayo, Westmeath and Wexford.
