222 Mr. Lowry asked the Minister for Education if she will outline the present status of the proposed extension to Drom national school, County Tipperary; when the tender stage will be foreclosed; when the project is expected to commence; and the scale of works involved.
I have approved a permanent extension to Drom national school, County Tipperary which will contain two classrooms and various stores. A ballcourt and car parking facilities will also be provided. Local authority planning permission for the project has just been received in my Department and the preparation of tender documents will be put in hands at the earliest possible date. I am not in a position at this stage to say when tenders will be invited or a contract placed.
