Ceist:

360 Mr. Belton asked the Minister for Education the proportion of higher education grants paid by (1) Cork County Council, (2) Kerry County Council, (3) Limerick County Council, (4) Clare County Council, (5) Tipperary North Riding County Council, (6) Tipperary South Riding County Council, and (7) Waterford County Council as at 1 November 1990 and 1 December 1990.

The position regarding payments of grants is that the administration of the higher education grants have been statutorily entrusted to the local authorities.

Consequently the statistical information in the form requested by the Deputy is not available in my Department.
