Ceist:81 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Education if she will appoint a caretaker to St. Vincent's Convent Primary School, St. Mary's Road, Cork.

When the post of caretaker in St. Vincent's national school fell vacant it was subject to the embargo on the replacement of such staff.
TheProgramme for Economic and Social Progress contains proposals to expand the provision of caretaking services to all national schools of 100 pupils upwards on a phased basis, commencing in 1992. The position with regard to the school in question will be considered when the allocations are being made for 1992.
