88 Mr. Lowry asked the Minister for Education if she will outline her development proposals for Ballinree national school, County Tipperary; the present status of the project; and when work is expected to commence on this very necessary development.
I have approved the provision of a new school building for Ballinree national school, County Tipperary. The tender recommendations for the project have been submitted to my Department and the question of the placing of the contract is now being considered. A decision in this regard will be conveyed to the school authorities at the earliest possible date.
I am not in a position, at this stage, to say when building works will commence.
