Ceist:84 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Education if she will outline the grants which are available from her Department for the provision of equipment in national schools.
Written Answers. - National Schools Equipment Grants.
Capital grants are available from my Department for the provision in ordinary national schools of loose furniture, for example, PE equipment. In the case of special schools, a wide range of equipment is provided in accordance with the specific needs of a school, e.g., cookers, fridges, cleaning equipment, etc. In addition, grants are available for audio-visual aids under the terms of Circular 14/88.
