Registered disabled people represent 3.2 per cent of the total work force in my Department. These people entered the Civil Service via open competitions for disabled people, for which purpose they were required to register with the National Rehabilitation Board.

The percentage of the total workforce in my Department which consists of registered disabled people, including civil servants seconded from my Department to An Foras Áiseanna Saothair and the National Authority for Occupational Safety and health, is 3.2 per cent.
