93 Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for Education if the examination of the submissions from consortia to construct and manage Sligo swimming pool has now resulted in the decision being made; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
No submissions were received from the consortia who were invited to submit proposals for the design, construction and management of the Sligo swimming pool. However, four proposals were received for the design and construction only, and in the light of these, proposals are now being sought by my Department from consultants to undertake the necessary design work so that tenders may be sought and construction work commences at the earliest possible date.
