Ceist:46 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Finance when a tax rebate will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the taxpayer submitted a claim for a refund of tax on 15 February 1991. This was certified for repayment on 19 February and a cheque for £90.47 issued to him on 26 February 1991. The inspector of taxes has no other application on hand for a repayment of tax.
