48 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Finance if he will outline for each county, the total value of stamp duty which was raised from the sale or purchase of houses in the years 1988, 1989 and 1990; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the information sought by the Deputy is not available.
The total amounts collected in stamp duties in 1988, 1989 and 1990 in respect of transfers of land and buildings, including houses, were £73.9 million, £114.4 million and £113.5 million respectively.
