Ceist:174 Mr. S. Barrett asked the Minister for Justice the number of house break-ins in the Dublin Metropolitan Area for each of the years between 1987 and 1990 and to date in 1991.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 173 and 174 together.
The number of burglaries at dwellings — including houses, flats, etc. —in the Dublin Metropolitan Area which were reported to the Garda Síochána for each of the years 1987 to 1990 is set out in the following table. Figures for 1991 are not yet available.
