301 Mr. Taylor asked the Minister for Education whether she has received a request from St. Ronan's national school, Deansrath, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, for sanction for the erection of two urgently needed rooms (details supplied); if she will sanction same; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

On 15 March 1991 my Department received an application from the chairperson of the board of management for the provision of two new classrooms at St. Ronan's national school, Deansrath, Dublin 22.

The matter is being considered in the context of the enrolment projections for the school and a decision will be conveyed to the chairperson of the board of management at the earliest possible date. The Deputy will be aware that two new pre-fabricated classrooms were provided at the school in 1989 and four new pre-fabricated classrooms were provided recently.
