Ceist:

135 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Finance when a tax rebate will issue to a person (details supplied) in Cork who submitted through her tax consultant all the requested information to her local Cork Tax Office in October 1990, and was promised a statement as well as a rebate within a matter or weeks but is still waiting on same.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that a notice of assessment was issued by the Inspector of Taxes to the taxpayer on 5 March 1991 advising her of a repayment of £12,249.55. A cheque in settlement for this amount will be issued within the next ten days.
