Ceist:

165 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health if he will make a statement on reports that many health boards have run out of repeat prescriptions; if he has carried out an investigation on the cause of the shortage; and if he will give an assurance that this situation will not recur.

Minister for Health (Dr. O'Hanlon):

I understand from the General Medical Services (Payments) Board that arrangements are currently in train to ensure that all health boards receive an adequate supply of repeat prescription forms.
