202 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Education the reason a student travel pass card has been withdrawn from a person (details supplied) in County Meath; when this pass card will be restored to her; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

The school transport schemes were established to cater for pupils of primary and post primary schools attending full-time courses.

The college in question here is a third-level institution and does not come within the ambit of the schemes.
