Ceist:129 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for the Environment if he will contact all local authorities in order to establish the level of evictions and repossessions that have taken place in recent years by them.

The administration of local authority house purchase loan schemes is entirely the responsibility of the local authorities. I have no proposals to alter long-standing practice in relation to the aspects referred to by the Deputy.
