Barrett — the problem relating to a Chinese student who has spent the last six months in Mountjoy Prison without being charged with any offence, because the Department of Justice are awaiting documentation as to whether he should be granted political asylum; (5) Deputy McCartan — the reported claim by gardaí guarding the home of An Taoiseach that some of their facilities are sub-standard and rat infested; (6) Deputy Sheehan — the situation concerning the future of the Cape Clear wind energy system, its proposed dismantling and return to Germany; (7) Deputy Deenihan — the crisis faced by many national youth organisations because of the decrease in funding by the Government resulting in the loss of 50 jobs in the youth service and (8) Deputy Browne (Carlow-Kilkenny)— the subject matter of Parliamentary Question No. 41 to the Minister for Health on 8 May 1991 seeking clarification on the delay for approval by the Department of Health of financial requirements for additional beds at the Sacred Heart Hospital, Carlow.

I have selected for discussion the matters raised by the Deputies D. Ahern, Durkan and S. Barrett.
