74 Mr. Ferris asked the Minister for Education if she has received a request from Scoil Ruain, Killenaule, County Tipperary for the provision of a playing field to serve the 405 students attending there; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
The Tipperary SR VEC has submitted a proposal to my Department for the provision of a playing field at Scoil Ruain, Killenaule.
As the Deputy will be aware, there are many applications before my Department for the provision of new schools and extensions to provide much needed teaching accommodation.
The position is that at present all available capital resources are committed to addressing this need.
