Ceist:27 Tomás Mac Giolla asked the Minister for Finance if he will outline the Government's plans for the future of the Industrial Credit Corporation; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

As I announced on 11 July 1990, I appointed Stokes Kennedy Crowley Corporate Finance Limited to advise me on the options available in relation to the future development and capital requirements of the Industrial Credit Corporation plc. Stokes Kennedy Crowley are currently examining the option of a sale of the State's shareholding in the ICC.
No decision on the future of the ICC has yet been made.
