Ceist:88 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Health if he will outline the amount of money expended by his Department on the promotion of healthy living and fitness programmes in (1) 1980, (2) 1990; and the estimated figure for 1991.
Written Answers. - Health and Fitness Programmes.
Expenditure on my Department's health education, health promotion and preventive programmes amounted to £2.1 million in 1980 and £3.77 million in 1990. It is estimated that expenditure on these services will amount to £3.918 million in 1991.
