129 Mr. Sherlock asked the Minister for Health if he will consider allocating funds to the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association for its activities in relation to diseases affecting the motor neurones in the brain and spinal cord; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Representatives of the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association met officials from my Department recently. I am currently awaiting a submission for national lottery funding from the association which will be carefully considered when it is received.
