2 Mr. Farrelly asked the Taoiseach the number of males and females in receipt of unemployment benefit and unemployment assistance in Navan, Kells and Trim, County Meath, as at 30 April 1989, 1990 and 1991; and the total number of unemployed persons in the county of Meath.

The information requested by the Deputy is contained in a statement which I propose to circulate in the Official Report.

Following is the statement:

Number of Persons on the Live Register in each Employment Exchange in County Meath on the last Friday of April from 1989 to 1991 inclusive, classified by sex and category of claim.
