Ceist:50 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for the Marine if he will give details of the position regarding fishing rights in the area of Rockall.
Written Answers. - Fishing Rights in Rockall Area.
Under the Common Fisheries Policy Ireland, Germany, the United Kingdom, Belgium, France, the Netherlands and Spain have fishing rights in the Rockall area.
In addition a number of third countries, specifically Norway and the Faroe Islands, which have entered into fishery agreements with the Community have limited rights.
