29 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for the Environment if he will examine in conjunction with Waterford County Council the provision of a sewerage scheme and treatment plant for the Clonea-Ballinacourty area of County Waterford which has a vast tourism potential.

The initiation of proposals in a case of this kind would be for the local authority concerned. No proposal has been made to my Department by Waterford County Council for the provision of a sewerage scheme for Clonea-Ballinacourty.
