Ceist:

83 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a person (details supplied) in Dublin 22 does not qualify for full benefits under the Local Government (Superannuation Revision) (Consolidated) Scheme, 1986; if his attention has been drawn to the possibility that this applicant may not have been furnished with the necessary advance notice of changes in the scheme; whether provision can therefore be made to allow him receive full entitlements under the scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

My Department are examining the superannuation position of the person referred to who has been requested recently to submit certain documentation in support of his case. When this is received, a decision in the matter will be made.
