Ceist:105 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Defence if his attention has been drawn to (a) the proposal to transfer responsibility for Civil Defence matters from his Department to the Department of the Environment, (b) the likely financial implications of same and (c) the need for a military command structure in the Civil Defence; if he has satisfied himself that this structure will be transmitted to the new authority in the event of the proposed change; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
