Ceist:125 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Health when a person (details supplied) in County Carlow will be called for a hernia operation at St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have been informed that the person referred to by the Deputy is on the waiting list for his operation since 10 May 1991.
I do not consider it appropriate for me to comment on the clinical details of an individual patient. However, I understand that he should be admitted for his operation in about a month's time.
