The rate of remuneration for part-time home helps is based on the requirements and type of tasks undertaken rather than on a specific rate per hour.
In the Mid-Western Health Board area a total of 1,036 part-time home helps provide some 10,360 hours service per week. When equated with a rate per hour average remuneration is approximately £2.45 per hour.
No full-time home helps are employed by the Mid-Western Health Board.
