41 Mr. G. O'Sullivan asked the Minister for the Marine if he is concerned that the Malahide marina site has been put up for sale in view of the fact that no decision has been made by him with regard to the rights of the existing boat owners in the area; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
I would refer the Deputy to a reply which I gave to Parliamentary Question No. 49 on 23 May last in relation to the Malahide marina project.
No lease has yet been offered in respect of the development of a marina proper in Malahide. The issue of such a lease is subject to the resolution of a number of outstanding issues including mooring rights and arrangements within Malahide estuary.
