65 Mr. Lowery asked the Minister for Education the reason for delay in paying moneys due to management of Littleton national school, County Tipperary in respect of its special itinerant class and remedial teacher; when the outstanding funds will be paid.
The grant in respect of teaching aids and equipment for the remedial teacher in this school was paid to the school authorities on 6 December 1990.
The moneys due for the capitation grant in respect of the special traveller class in the school will be sent to the school authorities on 20 June 1991. The delay in payment of this grant was due to the original application for the grant not being received in my Department.
