Ceist:

35 Mr. Byrne asked the Minister for Finance the steps which are being taken to improve the run-down and dilapidated appearance of houses owned by the Office of Public Works in Upper Merrion Street, Dublin 2, which are an eyesore; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Having regard to the fact that these houses are for sale, expenditure is kept to the minimum necessary to render the premises safe and secure and the interiors tidy.
